Local NHS organisations could be awarded funding to develop new digital services that improve patient care and can be used to share information more easily across the NHS announced today. Funded projects are expected to lead to a successful deployment and use, in an NHS environment, of solutions based on the NHS interoperability toolkit.

The information sharing challenge fund (ISCF) is open to eligible NHS organisations. The fund is looking for innovative ideas that change the way information is currently used and shared between different organisations. NHS staff, clinicians and patients can access information when they need to and patients can be involved in decisions about their care if they wish to be.

To assist NHS organisations in applying for ISCF funding the NHS interoperability toolkit team will be running a number of one hour webinar sessions aimed at explaining the ISCF application process in more detail and how an NHS trust should go about completing an application.

If you would like to attend one of these sessions then please register via the links below:

Depending on demand, further webinars may be scheduled.

Read the full press statement and follow the information sharing challenge fund on Twitter at @ITKISCF.
